Dr. Gareth Milborrow

Dr. Gareth Milborrow, MD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dr. Gareth currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Site & Patient Solutions at ICON plc, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Feasibility, Site ID & Start-Up from October 2020 to September 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Data, Analytics & Automation from April 2018 to October 2020 at the same company.

Dr. Milborrow also worked as the Vice President of Analytics & Process Improvement from October 2015 to April 2018 and as the Senior Director of Clinical Development, Firecrest from January 2014 to October 2015. Dr. Gareth served as the Director of Informatics from February 2011 to January 2014 and as the Senior Clinical Research Physician from June 2008 to January 2011 at ICON plc as well.

Prior to joining ICON plc, Dr. Milborrow worked as a Clinical Research Physician at MDS Pharma Services from August 2007 to June 2008.

Their earlier experience includes working in the NHS, where they served as an Investigator in Cardiovascular Medicine from March 2005 to August 2007 and as a Medical Doctor from January 2000 to March 2005.

Dr. Gareth Milborrow, MD completed their education in Medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1993 to 1999, earning an MBBCh degree. Dr. Gareth later pursued further specialization in Internal Medicine, obtaining an MRCP degree from the Royal College of Physicians from 2003 to 2004.
