Frederick Lewis has a comprehensive work experience in the medical and scientific affairs field. Frederick is currently serving as the Vice President of Medical and Scientific Affairs for Neurosciences at ICON plc since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Scientific Affairs for Neurosciences at PRA International from January 2012 to July 2021. In addition, they also served as the Vice President of Scientific Affairs for Psychiatry at PRA International from August 2011 to January 2012. Before their tenure at PRA International, they worked as an Independent Pharmaceutical Development Physician at Frederick T. Lewis DO Inc. from February 2011 to August 2011. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Medical Director at PPD from August 2004 to February 2011. Frederick'scareer began at CNS Clinical Research Inc., where they were the Founder and Deputy Director of Research from July 1990 to August 2004.
Frederick Lewis graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School in 1976 with a diploma. Frederick then attended Penn State University from 1976 to 1979, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following this, they enrolled at Nova Southeastern University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree. Frederick'sfinal educational experience was at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from 1986 to 1990, where they completed a residency in psychiatry and obtained a degree in the field of Psychiatry.
