Hamid Tavakoli

Hamid Tavakoli, M.D, MSc has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Hamid currently holds the position of Principal Statistical Programmer at ICON plc since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at The University of British Columbia from 2015 to 2021. Hamid also served as a Health and Business Analyst at Fraser Health Authority from 2013 to 2014 and as a Project Manager at Treata Smart Solutions in 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Health Informatics Analyst at Vancouver Coastal Health from 2011 to 2011. Hamid Tavakoli has a background in data analysis and project management, having worked as a Data Analyst and Project Manager at the Iranian Health Researchers Institute from 2002 to 2010. Hamid also had a brief role as Nikshahr CDC Director and Family Physician at Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in 2006.

Hamid Tavakoli, M.D., MSc received a Master of Science (MSc) degree in ehealth from McMaster University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor degree in Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2002.
