Inês Cabrito

Inês Cabrito has extensive work experience in various roles related to clinical data science and research. Inês is currently working as a Principal Clinical Data Scientist Lead at ICON plc since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Sr Clinical Data Team Lead at PPD from February 2021 to November 2021. From September 2018 to February 2021, they worked as a Data Team Lead at IQVIA. Before that, they held the position of Clinical Data Project Manager at Eurotrials from August 2016 to August 2018. Inês also gained experience as an Associate Group Leader at PPD Development Ireland Limited from December 2014 to August 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate Scientist at Ablynx, where they assumed Team Leader responsibilities and was involved in various research projects from September 2008 to November 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Postdoc in the Neurogenetics and Mental Health Unit at Instituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge from September 2007 to August 2008. In addition, Inês worked as a Postdoc in the position of Project Leader in the Molecular Biology Unit at Eurofins from October 2004 to January 2007. Inês also gained research experience as a Visitor Researcher at Stanford University in 2003 and at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique in 2001.

Inês Cabrito obtained a Licentiate degree in Chemistry - Biothecnology from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa from 1993 to 1998. Inês then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry - Biotechnology from the same institution from 1999 to 2004.
