Patricia Murphy

Patricia Murphy, PhD, is the Head of the Center for Rare Diseases at ICON plc, where they oversee innovative developments in sleep-wake disorders and rare diseases. After two decades at Cornell Medical School's Department of Psychiatry focusing on human sleep and circadian rhythms, Patricia transitioned to clinical research at Eisai, Inc. in 2012, eventually becoming a Study Director leading multiple clinical trials for the treatment of sleep disorders. They hold advanced degrees in Experimental Psychology from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Santa Clara University.
