Sergey Kinchin

Sergey Kinchin, AIGP, GSEC, PhD, currently serves as a Legal Business Partner focusing on Tech Innovation and Intellectual Property at ICON plc since March 2022. Since December 2015, Kinchin has also been a Guest Lecturer at various universities, including James Cook University, the University of Western Australia, and Maynooth University, receiving an award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning at JCU in 2018. Previous roles include Director of Risk and Legal Compliance at Bezzu, Group Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at Riverside Marine, and Senior Associate at Brian White & Associates. Kinchin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Governance & Ethics from the University of Western Australia, Practical Legal Training from QUT, and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from James Cook University, along with A-Levels in various subjects and a diploma in French language from Alliance Francaise.
