Amar Savalia

Amar Savalia has been working in the life science industry for over 10 years, supporting design Engineering, R&D, process optimization and brand-new facility construction startups projects. Amar has a high level of experience in designing of both process and utility type of systems including commissioning and qualification activities, procurement support, and project management. Amar strives to ensure that all equipment/systems are designed to be utilized in a GxP environment to certify the quality and integrity of the manufactured medicines are suitable for injection into the patient.

In addition to serving as a Managing Consultant of ICQ Consultants, he has acted as Process Engineer and Project Manager for several clients, including Sanofi Pasteur supporting the new construction of a 156,000 square foot state of the art vaccine manufacturing facility and Validation Execution at Genzyme Biosurgery.

Prior to joining ICQ Consultants, Amar has held a position as Senior Process Engineer, at Teligent Pharmaceuticals, responsible for GMP equipment design, construction startup/ troubleshooting, operations personnel management, process development and validation support as a well as execution (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, Sterilization PQ) for one 110,000 square foot manufacturing plant for injectable and topical Pharmaceuticals.
