Laura Santamaría

Laura Santamaría is the Head of Communications for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Colombia Delegation. They hold a degree in Social Communication and a Master of Arts in Development Studies with a focus on Human Rights, Gender, and Conflict Studies. With nine years of experience in Development Communication within the international cooperation sector, Laura has worked extensively in humanitarian assistance, peacebuilding, and post-conflict scenarios. They have also served in various communications roles with organizations such as the United Nations and Save the Children International, and have significant experience working with diverse community groups.
