Vincent Bado

Vincent Bado is a Principal Research Scientist at ICRISAT, where they focus on integrated agricultural production systems, livelihood diversification, and climate-smart agriculture. Previously, they served as the Regional Representative and Head of a Research Station at the Africa Rice Center, specializing in rice agronomy and soil fertility in West Africa. Before that, Bado was the Program Leader for Cropping Systems and Natural Resource Management at the Institute of Environment and Agricultural Research of Burkina Faso. Bado earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Soil Science and Environment from Université Laval between 1999 and 2002.
