Richard Sit is a seasoned professional in the field of Human Factors with over two decades of experience in engineering management and user experience design. Currently serving as Sr. Engineering Manager at ICU Medical since January 2022, Richard leads the Human Factors initiatives for medical device design and evaluation. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Smiths Medical, where Richard provided leadership for various medical devices, and Principal Human Factors Scientist at Medtronic, focusing on user-centered design in cardiac products. Richard began a career as an Advisory Usability Engineer at IBM, enhancing usability for large-scale software applications, and conducted foundational research as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
