Tom Johnston

Tom Johnston is a seasoned professional in the fields of technology and the arts with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Lead Technician for Service and Repair at ICU Medical since November 2018, Tom provides invaluable technical resources to junior technicians while analyzing production metrics and managing special projects. As the Founder of Fusion Arts, a Christian-based non-profit outreach established in April 2012, Tom is dedicated to offering technical training to artists. Previous roles include Field Applications Engineer positions at Cahill, Schmitz and Cahill and Master Electronics, where Tom enhanced client product designs through new technologies. Additional experience encompasses electronic test and design consulting, audio/visual system design, and engineering roles at companies such as NVE Corporation and Robert Bosch. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, a Mini-Masters in Project Management from the University of St. Thomas, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
