Symeon Brown

Symeon Brown started their work experience as a System Administrator at Dynamic Strategies, Inc. in 2004. In 2005, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Network Security Engineer and worked there until 2011. From 2011 to 2015, Symeon worked at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey as an IT Security Engineer, maintaining the security infrastructure and updating the security architecture. Symeon then transitioned to the role of Incident Response Analyst at the same company from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, Symeon served as the Manager of Cyber Security Operations at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Currently, they are the Director of Cybersecurity at ID.me, starting from July 2022.

Symeon Brown attended DeVry from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Networking and Telecommunications. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including HCISPP from (ISC)² in January 2021, CISSP from (ISC)² in May 2011, and certifications from GIAC Certifications (GCIH, GCTI, GMON) that were obtained at unspecified dates.
