Morten Opprud Jakobsen is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in embedded systems and technology development. Currently serving as Chairperson for TinyML Copenhagen and Associate Professor at Aarhus University, Morten has played a pivotal role in initiating TinyML in Scandinavia and educating students in embedded systems design. With a background as a part-time project engineer at CeramicSpeed Bearings A/S and involvement in professional organizations such as IDA Embedded, Morten actively facilitates events and explores new technologies for engineers. Morten's educational achievements include a PhD in Condition Monitoring and Edge Computing, a Master's degree in Technology Based Business Development, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Embedded Software from Aarhus University and HIH.
