Anja Boencke serves as the Chief Innovation Officer and Teamlead Product at ida (Innovations- und Digitalagentur GmbH) since September 2022. Previously, Anja held the role of Senior Product Owner at Ideas Engineering as well as Product Excellence and Senior Product Owner positions at Axel Springer National Media & Tech GmbH & Co. KG. Anja also worked as Product Owner for WELT apps at WeltN24 GmbH and participated in a trainee program at Axel Springer focused on Product Management. Anja’s early career included roles at POLITICO Europe, RTL Group, and Nickelodeon. Anja holds multiple master's degrees in Journalism, Media, and Globalisation from various universities including Aarhus University, University of Hamburg, and Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole, along with a bachelor's degree from the University of Münster. Anja has further enhanced expertise through a scholarship at the European University Institute.
