Anne-marie Tierney-Le Roux has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Anne-marie began their career in 1997 as a Marketing Executive at Grant Thornton. Anne-marie then worked as an EMEA Marketing Manager at PriceWaterHouseCoopers from 1999 to 2002. In 2004, they joined IDA Ireland as a Project Manager in the Technology Department and later became the Director of Europe, responsible for working with European companies to identify opportunities for value chain activities in Ireland. Anne-marie held this position from 2007 to 2014. Anne-marie then served as the Regional Manager for the South East Region at IDA Ireland from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Head of Department for Regional Business Development at IDA Ireland. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Department for Technology & Emerging Business at IDA Ireland, starting in September 2021.

Anne-marie Tierney-Le Roux received their Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) degree in Law from University College Dublin, where they studied from 1991 to 1994. Anne-marie then pursued their interest in marketing, completing an Association of Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM) degree at London Metropolitan University from 1997 to 2000. Later, in 2005 and 2006, they furthered their education in the field by earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Marketing from the University of South Wales.
