Mary McEvoy has a diverse work experience history. Mary started their career in 1994 as a Marketing Executive at Enterprise Ireland / Irish Trade Board and later worked as a Business Development Manager at CK Business Solutions. Mary then joined Kilkenny County Enterprise Board as a Business Development Executive, where they focused on economic development in Castlecomer. Afterward, they worked for Carlow County Council as an Economic Promotion & Development Officer, promoting the region for inward investment.
In 2007, Mary became a Director at the MBA Association of Ireland, where they chaired the Southeast chapter and turned it into the most active chapter in the region. Mary co-founded The FUSE Initiative in 2010, a two-year volunteer initiative aimed at driving business growth in the Southeast region of Ireland.
Mary also worked at Enterprise Ireland as a Marketing & Sales Strategy Adviser, and later joined IDA Ireland, where they held various roles including Vice President of the Emerging Businesses Division and Vice President of Tech, Consumer, and Business Services. Throughout their career, Mary has showcased their expertise in marketing, sales strategy, business development, and economic promotion.
Mary McEvoy obtained a Diploma in Strategy & Innovation from the Irish Management Institute in 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration from the University College Dublin between 2000 and 2002. Mary'sundergraduate degree, a BBS specializing in Business & Spanish, was earned from the University of Limerick from 1990 to 1994.
