AJ Dentinger has been working in the medical and construction fields since 2013. In 2013, they began working as a Carpenter and Laborer for Phillips Construction Inc., where they performed daily tasks that ranged from framing walls to constructing ceilings and canopies on jobs sites in the tristate area. In 2016, they became a House Manager for Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity, where they were responsible for managing the finances of the entire fraternity house, including rent income, and enhancing members' quality of life by improving and constructing new furnishings to accommodate current and incoming members. In 2017, they worked as an Intern for Active Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, and as a Sales Representative for Green Lumens, where they researched and contacted potential clients in the country and attended product meetings with current and prospective clients to promote the brand and make sales. In 2018, they became a Summer Intern for Albany Medical Center, and they are currently a Medical Student for Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
AJ Dentinger attended the University of Florida from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience.
