Dr. Gasbarre is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery who currently practices in Spearfish, South Dakota for Monument Health. He previously served as a staff physician at Cleveland Clinic in the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Institute. Prior to joining the staff there, he completed a fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the treatment of skin cancer, dermatologic laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology) and a residency in Dermatology (serving as the Chief Resident during his final residency year).
Dr. Gasbarre has published or edited numerous articles and book chapters in the field, as well as lectured internationally. Dr. Gasbarre is a graduate of A.T. Still University/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and Cornell University (B.S.). Between college and medical school, he was awarded a pre-doctoral Intramural Research Training Award to conduct two years of research in cancer biology at the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland.
