Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is the current board member at Idaho Health Data Exchange and the former assistant vice president of Information Systems at Scripps Health. Ryan has also served as the senior director of Application Services at Providence Health & Services.

Smith began their career in April 2014 at Scripps Health, where they were responsible for revenue cycle areas including hospital and professional billing, revenue integrity, HIM, enterprise access, finance, supply chain, and the health plan. Ryan also oversaw the Information Management department, which was responsible for supporting a twenty million dollar, 600+ application portfolio. In September 2012, they moved to Providence Health & Services to serve as the senior director of Application Services.

Smith has extensive experience in healthcare administration and information systems. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned their degree in Healthcare Administration and Policy.

Ryan Smith has an MBA in Business from the University of Washington and a BA in Ryan'story from Washington State University. Ryan also has an Associate's Degree in Engineering from Shasta College.
