Carly Oppie

Carly Oppie is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Director of Development at Opera Idaho since July 2022. Previously, Carly worked as a Development Associate at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival from April 2017, where responsibilities included leading the annual fundraising gala, managing event planning, and fostering relationships with community and donors. Carly's background includes serving as an IT Project Manager for the City of Nampa, overseeing large-scale IT projects, as well as holding the position of Office Manager for the Idaho STAR Motorcycle Safety Program. Early career experience includes work as a Warranty Clerk at Bretz RV & Marine. Carly holds a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Fundraising from Boise State University and has earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Fine/Studio Arts and Fine Arts/Drama from the University of Montana.
