Erik Schumacher

Erik Schumacher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and corporate development. Currently serving as Managing Director at Antnik GmbH since October 2012, Erik provides advisory and advanced analytics services. Erik is also Associated Partner at idalab GmbH since July 2017 and served as a Board Member for the YPO Munich Chapter from July 2013 to June 2016, including a role as Chapter Chair from 2015 to 2016. Previous positions include President at Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, LLC, Vice President of Strategic Corporate Development at Carl Zeiss AG, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Hilti AG. Earlier in the career at The Boston Consulting Group, Erik held the position of Principal. Erik holds a Vordiplom in Physics from Universität Karlsruhe, an MS and PhD in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, and an MBA from INSEAD, where also completed the Board Leadership Program.
