Sue Chen-Holmes

Sue Chen-Holmes has a strong background in the legal field, particularly in the banking and finance industry. Sue currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel at IDB Bank since July 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Director, Senior Counsel at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from September 2018 to June 2019. Sue also has extensive experience at Rabobank International, where they held the role of Executive Director, Senior Counsel from October 2010 to September 2018. Sue's earlier work experience includes serving as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, focusing on banking & finance and M&A/Private Equity, and as a Legal Consultant and Knowledge Database Coordinator at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Sue began their career as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in insurance practice, assurance, and business advisory services.

Sue Chen-Holmes has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Sue also has a Certificate in Chinese Studies from the Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) - Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies, completed in 2000. In 1998, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Amherst College. Additionally, they participated in the Duke Study in China program at Duke University in 1996.
