Gabriel Jimenez

Gabriel Jimenez currently serves as the Regional Private Sector Coordinator for Central America, Panama, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti at IDB Invest, providing strategic support to key stakeholders within the IDB Group since January 2018. Previously, Gabriel held various positions at Scotiabank, including Investment Officer in Manufacturing and Senior Associate in Corporate Finance, where responsibilities included developing credit proposals for major corporations in diverse industries. Prior experience includes a role as Financial Analyst at the Inter-American Investment Corporation, internships at Janssen and the Ecuadorian Embassy in Colombia, and early career experience in auditing at PwC and process improvement at MINTEL. Gabriel holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Nanyang Technological University and a degree in Business with a major in Finance from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
