Pascual Mendez

Pascual Mendez is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in providing legal counsel and support across various sectors, particularly in project finance, corporate loans, and the clean energy and agribusiness sectors in Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at IDB Invest since August 2012, Pascual Mendez has effectively negotiated and drafted a wide range of legal documents while advising internal committees and Board of Directors members. Previous roles include tenure at Carrillo & Asociados as an Attorney, where Pascual Mendez specialized in corporate law, and at Citibank Guatemala as a Legal Assistant, supporting credit and loan processes. Educational qualifications include an LLM in Law and Business from Northwestern University and an LLM in Finance from Universidad Francisco Marroquín.
