Öykü Barlas Akça

Öykü Barlas Akça is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel and Team Lead for the EMEA Legal Team at Bynder since August 2021. Öykü's expertise encompasses reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, supporting M&A projects, ensuring compliance, and managing a small team. Prior legal experience includes a position as Jr. Legal Counsel at 5CA and various internships, including roles at EVBox and BTS & Partners, focusing on corporate law and M&A. Öykü holds a Bachelor of Laws from Koç University, a Master of Laws in European Private Law from the University of Amsterdam, and is pursuing an Executive MBA at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additionally, Öykü co-founded the food blog FourHungryLadies in 2015, sharing food and travel experiences.
