Carolina de las Heras, PhD

Carolina de las Heras, PhD, currently serves as the EMEA Sales Lead Development at IDBS, focusing on generating sales opportunities for BioPharma data management software since June 2021. With a strong background in business development and project management, Carolina managed operations at Aprendo IT Ltd. from 2011 to 2021 and oversaw grant applications and project monitoring at Bio Optical Detection S.L., Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe, and Curapath. As an ERC Research Fellow at the University of Surrey, Carolina contributed significantly to research on waterborne nanoparticles and developed biosensors for clinical applications. Carolina's educational qualifications include a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Portsmouth and various courses in project management and research methods.
