Kayla Moss

Kayla Moss is a Stem Ideas Rotational Associate at IDBS since July 2022, bringing a strong background in biomedical engineering. Previously, Kayla worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from August 2020 to April 2022, focusing on the inhibition of pathological mineralization and conducting extensive wet lab work, including cell culture and imaging analyses. Prior to that, a Healthcare Systems Analysis Intern at Sparrow Health System optimized scheduling processes and standardization within the Patient Access Team. Earlier research experience at the University of Michigan involved inflammation control and tissue regeneration after spinal cord injuries, resulting in a contributing author role in a published study. Kayla also has administrative experience from a position at Michigan Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
