Dan Vesset is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the field of market research and analytics, currently serving as General Manager and Group Vice President of Global Research Operations at IDC since January 2000. In this role, Dan leads a global team focused on providing IDC’s analyst community with essential resources for high-value market research and advisory services. Previously, Dan held the position of Group Vice President for Analytics and Information Management, leading a team of analysts and consultants in various market sectors, and has been recognized as a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Dan's early career includes roles at Deloitte Consulting and State Street Bank & Trust Co., along with extensive experience in business intelligence and data analytics. Dan Vesset holds an MS and MBA in Management Information Systems from Boston University, as well as a BS in Finance and Investments from Babson College.
