Lewis Ward

Lewis Ward is a seasoned Research Director at IDC, with extensive experience in XR, gaming, and interactive 3D software since joining the company in April 2004. Initially focused on video game hardware and software, responsibilities expanded to include augmented and virtual reality in 2015. Ward's analytical expertise also encompasses the consumer and business applications of XR, leading research reports and forecasts. Prior to IDC, Ward served as an analyst at Collaborative Strategies, specializing in online communication and collaboration, and worked as an editorial assistant at Ziff Davis Media. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Letters and Science in English from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by an exchange program at Saint Louis University in Madrid, Spain.
