Marcia E. Walker

Marcia E. Walker brings extensive experience in leadership and research within the technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Vice President Emerita and Director of Research for Internet of Things at IDC, Marcia previously held key positions at prominent organizations such as SAS, Schneider Electric, and Rockwell Automation. Notably, Marcia served as a Global Principal in Manufacturing and a board member at MESA International. An alumna of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Marcia holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree, graduating summa cum laude, and furthered studies as a Fulbright Scholar at Universität Heidelberg. In addition to professional endeavors, Marcia participates in animal rescue as a foster caregiver for cats.
