Debbie Baynes

Debbie Baynes has a diverse and extensive work experience. Debbie currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Ide Management Group since January 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager of Payroll at Ide Management Group starting from May 2018.

From 2015 to 2018, Debbie worked at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission where they held the positions of Senior Utility Analyst from September 2016 to May 2018 and Utility Analyst from March 2015 to September 2016.

Earlier in their career, Debbie was a Senior Accountant at Ide Management Group LLC from April 2013 to November 2014. Debbie also had their own business, Baynes Accounting & Tax, where they served as the President and acquired clients, including the purchase of Blackwell Accounting & Tax Agency, from October 2006 to October 2012.

Debbie's longest tenure was at Duke Energy, formerly known as Cinergy and PSI, where they worked from March 1976 to May 2005. During their time there, they held various roles that encompassed areas such as Rates, Accounts Payable, Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Plant Accounting, Budgets & Forecasts, and Energy Trading Accounting & Reporting.

Debbie Baynes attended Indiana University - IUPUI Campus from 1977 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Debbie has also obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma from Workforce One in February 2015 and is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the Indiana State Board of Accountancy.
