John Studders

John Studders is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and management roles across various companies in the semiconductor and software industries. Currently serving as a Limited Partner at IDEA Fund Partners since April 2018, John has held significant positions at Synopsys, including Chief Architect and Group Director of R&D from July 2002 to January 2020. Prior to Synopsys, John was VP of Product Management at Coventor and held various roles at Avant! between 1994 and 1999. John's early career included positions as Director of Applications Engineering at Integrated Silicon Systems and Design Engineer at Analog Devices. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University from 1982 to 1986.
