De Vonia Walker-McGhee

De Vonia Walker-McGhee currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at IDEA Public Schools since January 2023. Prior to this role, De Vonia held the position of Senior Director of Human Resources at D and L Shipping from February 2022 to January 2023. From February 2015 to January 2022, De Vonia was the Human Resources Director at Brookdale Home Health of Houston and worked as Operations Manager at Smarketing Business Systems, Inc. from August 2008 to January 2015. De Vonia is pursuing a Master of Human Resources degree at Walden University, expected to be completed by June 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Phoenix, awarded in 2015, along with an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Lamar University obtained in 1994.
