Marie Banzon

Marie Banzon currently serves as Assistant Principal of Operations and Assistant Principal of Instruction at IDEA Public Schools since October 2022. Prior experience includes an Assistant Principal role at Hutto ISD for a brief period in 2022, and a long tenure at Round Rock ISD from 2007 to 2022, where responsibilities included Assistant Principal and Credit Recovery Site Lead. Additional work experience features a role as Assistant Store Manager at Eddie Bauer in early 2007 and Senior Editor at Central Texas College from March 2006 to January 2007. Marie Banzon began a career in education at Killeen ISD, serving as a Teacher and Lead Tutor from 2000 to 2006. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University, Certification as a Superintendent from the University of Texas at Tyler, and multiple master's degrees in educational administration and leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Education was obtained at Baylor University.
