Nina Arrambide-Avila

Nina Arrambide-Avila currently serves as the Regional Director of College Success at IDEA Public Schools, where responsibilities include overseeing college readiness and matriculation initiatives while supporting and coaching college counseling staff, particularly in San Antonio. Prior roles include Senior Director and Director of College Counseling at IDEA Carver College Prep, as well as Lead Counselor at East Central High School. In addition, Nina is the Program Director for the David Robinson Fellowship, managing funding and organizing events for scholarship recipients. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Student Services at the University of the Incarnate Word®, a Criminal Justice teacher at Judson ISD, and a Senior Juvenile Probation Officer in Bexar County. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary's University and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Webster University.
