Wes McDaniel

Wes McDaniel has a diverse and successful work history. Wes began their career as an Engineer at Intermedics in 1978. Wes then moved on to work as a Salesperson at Johnson Controls from 1979 to 1987. In 1987, Wes started their own security company called Lightning Security, where they designed and installed security systems for small businesses and residential clients. Wes sold the company in 1990. Wes then joined Johnson Controls again in 1989 as an Energy Solutions Manager, where they developed and managed a team to sell and deliver energy savings projects. During their time there, Wes was instrumental in writing energy savings laws for the State of Texas and the European Union. In 1993, Wes joined Schneider Electric as the Vice President of Energy Solutions. Wes led major energy conservation projects globally and provided technical expertise to top executives. In 2009, they founded Ideal Impact, Inc. as the CEO with the mission of helping Christian ministries reclaim $1 Billion for their missions, a goal which they successfully achieved.

Wes McDaniel attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
