Jenny Council

Jenny Council has extensive experience in the IT field, beginning with their role as an IT Operations team member for Barnardo's in 1998. Jenny then moved on to J.O. Hambro Investment Management as an IT Support Contractor, where they worked on transition of Portfolio Management Systems from Portia to Sungard Asset Management. In 2001, they took on the role of Marketing Manager for Champagne Creek Cellars, where they promoted and sold boutique wines throughout Southern Oregon. In 2003, they became a Southern Oregon Technology Consultant for netCorps and then an IT Manager for Living Opportunities Inc. in 2010. In 2012, they took on the role of Contract, Powerup Academy Instructor for Rogue Community College. In 2014, they became a CRM Consultant for Idealist Consulting and in 2015, they became a SalesForce (Support and Implementation) and IT Operations (strategy, support and management) consultant for Council Consulting. Jenny has experience in multiple private and nonprofit sectors, and multiple business processes such as finance, grant making, fundraising, outcome and program tracking. Additionally, they have been a board member and organizing committee member for the Oregon Nonprofit Leaders Conference and Rogue Valley Development Professionals.

Jenny Council has a long history of education. Jenny obtained their BA Hons in Philosophy, Politics from the University of Liverpool between 1983 and 1986. Jenny then went on to obtain a PG.Dip.Co. in Counseling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London between 1992 and 1994. Her educational background also includes a high school diploma from Cherwell School, which they obtained between 1977 and 1982. Additionally, they have obtained a Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification from Salesforce in 2021, a Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant from Salesforce in 2020, a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) from Salesforce in 2018, a Data Security Badge from Salesforce Trailhead, and a Diversity & Inclusion Strategies in the Workplace from Salesforce Trailhead.
