Hussein Ibrahim

Hussein Ibrahim is an experienced professional currently serving as the MENA Region Director and MENA Region Partnership Consultant at Ideas Beyond Borders since November 2019. In addition, Hussein holds the position of Project Officer at The Center for Peace and Conflict Studies from May 2020. Previously, Hussein was the President of the Student Association for Global Affairs from May 2018 to May 2019 and a Graduate Assistant at NYU School of Professional Studies during the same period. Hussein's earlier experience includes roles such as Corporate Social Responsibility Advisor at ExxonMobil Kurdistan Region of Iraq Limited, Translator/Researcher/Adviser at the Board of Supreme Audit in KRG, and Team Leader at Garda World. Hussein has a Master of Science in Global Affairs, focusing on Peacebuilding and Development, from NYU School of Professional Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Literature from the University of Duhok.
