Rene "Butch" Meily serves as the President of IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc. and QBO Innovation Hub, leveraging extensive experience in innovation and startup mentoring. Since 2009, Meily has led the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, transforming it into a global model for disaster response and recovery. Previously, Meily was the President and COO of Pacific Global One, and held senior roles in public relations at various firms, including PLDT, Rubenstein Associates, TLC Beatrice International, and Burson Marsteller. Meily holds a M.A. in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida, a B.A. in Communications from Ateneo de Manila University, and further executive education from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
