Claire L. Neilan

Claire Neilan is an experienced pharmaceutical professional currently serving as Vice President and Head of Pharmacology and Toxicology at IDEAYA Biosciences since November 2017, where previous roles included Senior Director of Pharmacology and Toxicology and Director of Preclinical Sciences. Prior to IDEAYA, Claire worked at Gilead Sciences as Senior Research Scientist in Nonclinical Safety and Pathobiology from January 2015 to November 2017. Claire's earlier career at Incyte spanned over a decade, during which roles included Director and Associate Director of Toxicology, Principal Research Investigator, and Senior Research Investigator. Claire also held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Incyte and a Research Fellow role at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. An academic background includes a PhD in Pharmacology and a BSc (Hons) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Loughborough University.
