Michael White

Michael White is the current SVP & Chief Scientific Officer at IDEAYA Biosciences. Michael has held this position since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chief Scientific Officer at Biosplice Therapeutics from April 2020 to October 2021. Before that, they were an Adjunct Professor at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology from February 2017 to June 2020. From April 2016 to April 2020, they were the Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Pfizer's Oncology Research and Development Group. From October 1995 to July 2019, they were an Adjunct Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Michael began their career as an Associate Staff Member at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from August 1992 to October 1995.

Michael White received their Ph.D. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

They are on a team with Paul A. Barsanti - SVP, Head of Drug Discovery, Mick O’Quigley - SVP, Development Operations, and Paul Stone - SVP & CFO. Michael White reports to Yujiro S. Hata, President & Chief Executive Officer.
