Dennis O.

Dennis O. has been working in the IT security field for the past 10 years. In 2011, they began their career at Globasure as Head of ePayment Technical Support and Technical Support Engineer. In 2015, they joined IDEE GmbH as an Information Security Engineer. Since 2017, they have held the roles of Chief Security Architect, Data Protection Officer, and Security Architect at IDEE GmbH. In their current role, they engage with the business and IT stakeholders to understand a project's objectives, interprets the security requirements, and ensures that the solution is in line with the risk appetite and strategic vision of the business. Dennis also understands current and emerging security threats and designs or adapts the security architecture to mitigate the threats. Additionally, they support the integration of security requirements within the software development lifecycle.

Dennis O. started their educational journey in 2005 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Anambra State University. In 2014, they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. Dennis has also obtained a number of certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2017, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2016, AWS Certified Security – Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, Certified Blockchain Solution Architect from Blockchain Training Alliance in 2019, Own Your Voice: Improve Presentations and Executive Presence from LinkedIn in 2022, DevSecOps: Continuous Application Security from LinkedIn in 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2022.
