Alberto De La Cruz

Alberto De La Cruz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades.

Alberto is currently serving as the Chief of Operations at IDENTY Touchless ID since September 2022.

Before that, they worked at Minsait from August 2019 to March 2023 as a Big Data Architect. In this role, they provided expertise in designing and deploying Big Data architectures based on on-premise solutions. Alberto ensured the implementation of business goals and technical requirements by maintaining a holistic vision of all aspects of the project. Alberto also defined best practices and supported Development and DevOps teams in defining pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment. Alberto supervised all third-party integrations.

Prior to that, Alberto held the position of Big Data Senior Engineer at Pragsis Bidoop from February 2019 to August 2019.

Alberto also worked at Codere as a BI and Big Data Architect/Data Scientist from June 2018 to August 2019.

From June 2014 to June 2018, Alberto served as an Engagement Manager/Solution Architect at Globe Testing. In this role, they played a crucial role in capturing and capitalizing on opportunities through customer-oriented, solutions-led sales. Alberto led the Monitoring department and provided technical support to the sales force. Alberto also collaborated with HPE R&D in beta programs and advised on customer visions and needs.

Alberto has a long history with Hewlett-Packard, where they worked from March 2007 to June 2014. Alberto started as a Solution Architect and was responsible for defining IT solutions for clients. Alberto was also an instructor for HP Application Performance Management products, providing training to internal staff, partners, and customers.

Before working at Hewlett-Packard, Alberto held the position of Solution Architect at Hewlett-Packard (formerly Mercury Interactive) from May 2006 to February 2007.

Prior to that, they worked at Matchmind as a Solution Architect/Team Lead from May 2004 to May 2006.

Alberto has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Freelance from 2002 to 2004. Alberto further gained experience as the Founder/Senior Consultant at Borneo Software from 2000 to 2002.

Alberto De La Cruz completed their Master Executive en BI y Big Data degree at MBIT School from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they studied Ingenieria Técnica en Informática de Sistemas at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In addition to their formal education, Alberto obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft in 2021, Digital Photography (Harvard Computer Science I7) from Alison - Free Online Learning in 2017, HP AIS - BSM Operations Manager i 9.x from Hewlett Packard in 2013, INST-HPCtl13 - Certified Instructor from Hewlett Packard in 2013, HP ASE - Business Service Management v9 from Hewlett Packard in 2012, HP AIS - Universal Configuration Management Database v9 from Hewlett Packard in 2012, and Certified in ITIL v3 Service Management Foundation from EXIN in 2010.
