Coe Leta Stafford, PhD, is a seasoned professional in design thinking and innovation, currently serving as the Podcast Host at IDEO U since November 2015, where over 150 episodes feature notable leaders in creativity and innovation. As a Course Instructor for IDEO U’s online course "Insights for Innovation," Coe Leta teaches human-centered design research and the importance of empathy in creating valuable products and services. With a substantial tenure at IDEO from 2006 to 2024, Coe Leta held several leadership roles including Managing Director & Co-founder of IDEO U, where strategic business operations and offer development were key responsibilities. Additionally, Coe Leta has extensive experience leading diverse teams in various sectors, guiding design research, and integrating data analysis into innovation processes. An advisory board member for organizations such as the Children's Creativity Museum and a former UX Researcher at Adobe, Coe Leta holds a PhD in Learning Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hamline University.
