Jorge Aguilar has over 20 years of work experience in sales and account management. Jorge started their career at Softtek in 1997, where they were responsible for revenue and servicing a customer base in the computer telephony integration division. Jorge then worked at Compaq/HP as a Regional Account Manager, managing the company's largest corporate and global accounts in Latin America. In 2005, they joined Idera as a Latinamerica Account Manager, where they developed the regional sales strategy, marketed products to the largest accounts in the Latin American market, and developed a network of resellers and distributors. In 2013, they moved to Drillinginfo Enverus as a Senior Account Executive, responsible for worldwide information sales. Currently, they are working at Idera Software as a LATAM Senior Account Executive, selling database management software to customers worldwide, including Fortune 1,000 enterprises and government agencies.
Jorge Aguilar obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In 1996, they received a diploma in Finance and Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey. The following year, they completed a diploma in Sales and Marketing from the same institution. In 1998, Jorge attended a Leadership and Negotiation Workshop at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Later on, in 2011, they took part in a program called "The 4 C's of Diamond Professionals - Rice Business Executive Education" at Rice University. Finally, in 2013, Jorge completed the Sandler Training program in Sales provided by Impassioned Sales Solutions, LLC.
