James Letterneau

James Letterneau has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering at IDEX Health & Science, LLC - Melles Griot since June 2018, following previous roles including Manager of Mechanical Engineering and Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this, James held the position of Mechanical Engineer V at L3 Photonics and served in various engineering roles at Meggitt Sensing Systems, where responsibilities included managing an engineering team focused on aerospace and defense equipment and overseeing the development of MEMS-based devices. James initiated their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at N Spine, contributing to the design of spinal implants. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Graduate Certificate in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona.
