Matt Forsyth

Matt Forsyth serves as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Global Chief Commercial Counsel, and Head of Legal Operations at IDEXX Laboratories since June 2015. Prior to this role, Forsyth was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Sapient from August 2001 to June 2015, contributing to a global advertising and consulting firm now part of Publicis Groupe. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Corporate Counsel at Modus Media, where responsibilities encompassed corporate and employment matters across the US and Europe, and as an Associate at Mintz Levin, focusing on Business & Finance and Employment & Labor law. Forsyth began a career in public service as a Legislative Assistant in the Office of Congressman Joseph E. Brennan, advising on diverse policy issues. Educational credentials include a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, a visiting student stint at Harvard Law School, and a BA from Harvard University in Government and East Asian Studies.
