Tim Cowie

Tim Cowie serves as the Sr. Director of Global Manufacturing Science and Technology at IDEXX since March 2004, where responsibilities include leading initiatives in Automation Innovation, New Product Transition, and Industry 4.0. Previous roles include Sr Operations and Site Director, focusing on problem-solving and employee engagement, and Operations and Site Director, overseeing various operational aspects at IDEXX's Roswell site. Cowie’s experience spans multiple management positions, including Operations Manager and Product Support Engineer, where contributions to Lean Six Sigma initiatives significantly improved product quality and operational efficiency. Prior to IDEXX, Cowie interned as a Process Engineer at National Semiconductor. Academic qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine and an MBA in Global Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
