Hitesh Palekar

Hitesh Palekar is a seasoned IT professional with over 19 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Manager IT at IDFC FIRST Bank since June 2020, Hitesh has previously held significant roles at HDFC Bank, where responsibilities included Senior Manager IT and Manager IT from June 2011 to June 2020. Earlier career experiences include positions at National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) as an Executive and Computer Operations Officer from March 2007 to March 2011, and as a System Support Officer at Intelec Services International from October 2004 to March 2007. Hitesh holds a B.Sc in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, completed in May 2004, and an HSC in Science from Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College, concluded in February 2001.
