Gary Bridge

Gary Bridge is a Senior Advisor to IDG Capital. Most recently, he was a Managing Partner at Horsley Bridge Partners, a leading investor in VC/private equity partnerships on behalf of its institutional clients. Horsley Bridge has raised over $15 billion, earning top quartile returns for those clients. He opened the London office in 1998 and the Beijing office in 2005 where he spent 7 years living and working in Beijng. Today, China ranks second to the U.S. in commitment dollars to the Firm's funds. Prior to Horsley Bridge he was a partner and nationally recognized security analyst with Cowen and Company. Outside interests include serving as a Trustee and Board member of the San Francisco Ballet and also serving on the Board of "One Mind", a mental health research and development organization. He earned a BS in finance at the University of Utah and earned his MBA with high honors at the University of Miami.
